I used to care little about gardening before the age of 30. It took me until the pandemic to be able to keep house plants alive – the answer is bottom watering.   I seem to be finding out that hobbies gravitate to you, and you might not have that much choice in the matter.

And yes, I do want to go to the garden centre because the plants there need me to rescue them.
